This apple is popular in Sweden and other areas of northern Europe. Striped with crimson and flecked with russet, the Ingrid Marie has a soft, tearing flesh and mild flavor. The soft flesh makes it a favorite for those with sensitive teeth. Ingrid Marie was recently confirmed to originate as a chance seedling from Cox's Orange Pippin, and reportedly has a bit of the Cox taste to its bite. Scab resistant.
