We sell out of this apple every year, and it is hugely popular in our gift box orders. Handsome traditional apple from Maine with deep crimson skin. Good disease resistance and very hard. It keeps so well it is sometimes referred to as the "rock." It sweetens as it ages, and is a great variety for general use. From its unusual pink blossoms to its dramatic fruit, this tree wins in its ornamental & utilitarian appeal. Ripens mid-October.
